 |  As a singer at studio2stage 2019, I can happily say that it was an amazing experience that taught me so much about putting a show together. I learned about how the music behind all of the Irish shows are put together and worked with amazing musicians. We worked very hard, but on top of it all I made friends that I have stayed in touch with and will see at future dance competitions and other musical events. All in all, studio2stage gave me resources for my future and friends and memories to last a life time!I 100% percent recommend studio2stage to all Irish musicians and Irish step dancers. | Taking part in studio2stage in 2017 and 2018 were two incredible experiences. studio2stage reinforced my love for performing and professional dance. The days are intense and exhilarating as the cast works for the end result of putting on a professional performance. The 10 days were fast paced with hours of rehearsals that were incredibly rewarding as we saw our hard work and the choreographer’s vision come to life. It was inspiring to learn from choreographers who are professional dancers that have the jobs and experience that we as dancers hope to have one day. They were all so willing to share their talent and share the path that it took for them to get where they are today which is something that I am so grateful for. I made close friends that I still stay in touch with. These friends have made a great Irish dance network with people who can lean on each other for advice and feedback as we all have similar goals. I can’t thank studio2stage enough for the lasting friendships and connections I’ve gained from it. studio2stage also made me into a stronger and more courageous dancer willing to take risks to improve myself. Currently, I am getting ready to go live in Dublin for a couple months to study dance. I know my ability to make bold things happen is directly related to my time at S2S and the knowledge I gained through both the experience I had and the people I met.  | studio2stage will forever be a fantastic memory for me. I was a cast member in studio2stage’s program for two consecutive summers and experienced many rewarding opportunities. I was exposed to innovative choreography, a friendship I hold dear, the excitement of participating in flash mobs in Times Square, and the amazing opportunity to later dance professionally for Scott Doherty successful shows Christmas In Killarney having met and worked with Scott at studio2stage which opened an exciting door for me and which I will always value. | I had such an amazing time as a cast member in studio2stage 2018! I couldn’t wait to reconnect with my friends from the 2017 cast who were returning, as well as working with another phenomenal set of choreographers. Each day was a new challenge filled with laughter and excitement. I am so grateful for this show and the opportunities it gives dancers to grow as performers. I highly recommend studio2stage to any dancer looking to expand upon their performance skills and have a fun time while making friends from all across the globe!  | studio2stage has been one of the best dancing experiences I have ever been a part of. I’m still so grateful to have been part of the 2017 cast and I miss the people and the atmosphere so much. I got to meet and perform with so many amazing dancers and instructors. Although I unfortunately don’t dance anymore, as to me completing a biology/premed degree, I still try to incorporate a little dancing into my everyday life like coming up with steps to my favorite songs in my gym’s rec room. s2s brought out my performance side and I’m so happy that I ended my dancing career on such a positive note with amazing friends and stories. | studio2Stage has truly been a life changing experience for me! Before joining the team, I was unsure of the performance world and didn’t know what to expect. After working with all the incredible choreographers and dancers, I feel so much more prepared moving forward. I have truly found myself as a performer and discovered how much passion I have for the stage. I can’t thank studio2stage enough for the life-long friendships and incredible experience it has given me. I encourage every dancer to take advantage of this amazing opportunity, as I have discovered my love for performing I never knew existed. The past 2 years on the cast have been amazing.  | I really can’t put into words how life changing this experience was for me! It pushed me way outside of my comfort zone, and helped me realize my true potential as an Irish dancer. I learned confidence, stage presence, and met many lifelong friends along the way. I am so grateful for the producers of the show for allowing me to have this wonderful opportunity!
