 |  Studio2Stage was simply the best experience of my life. I was quite nervous at the start of the week as I didn't know a lot of people. As the week went on I found it easier to talk to other people in my group 'Broadway' and I also got to know the other crew members after rehearsals. The choreographers were very friendly which made rehearsals fun and were able to provide support when needed.The dress rehearsals were very stressful as I had a few quick changes in the 2nd Act, all of the other crew members were very helpful and had all of my other costumes sitting ready for me when I got off stage. On the day of the show I was extremely nervous and spent the whole day going over my steps to make sure that I remembered them. When we got our 15 minute call the nerves were kicking in but again, the entire crew were very supportive to everyone who was feeling nervous. At the end of the show I realised that when the curtain opens, that's when the fun starts. It was the best experience of my life and to have the audience on their feet at the end was just a bonus. I would like to thank the production team for giving me the opportunity to be apart of this fantastic show. I would recommend every dancer/musician to audition next year and become a studio2stage crew member.....there's no better feeling.  | Dear studio2stage team, I arrived in New Jersey at the end of July not knowing what to expect. I went into the first day with only a handful of previous friends and acquaintances. Little did I know that I would be having the 9 day experience of a lifetime. studio2stage surpassed my expectations in every way. From the production team, to the choreography, to the costumes; every aspect of the 9 day adventure was handled with excellence and professionalism. Before this summer, I had performed in a few small-scale show productions, but nothing of similar magnitude to studio2stage. Each member of the studio2stage staff brought unique experience and valuable lessons to us on a daily basis. Whether it was dance-related, career advice, or general life advice, they provided an incredible wealth of knowledge. Each choreographer has a very different and unique style, which in turn broadens your own abilities and skill set. The studio2stage team was an absolute pleasure to work with, and I woke up every morning excited to further immerse myself in the world of professional show dancing. Not only was studio2stage a fabulous learning experience, I can also say that I made countless friendships and memories to last a life time. The value of studio2stage goes far beyond making contacts in the professional dance world. You gain a network of friends from around the world who share the same unique love and passion for Irish music and dance. Whether we see each other again at a competition, studio2stage 2015, or on a professional tour, I have no doubt that many of these friendships will be life-long. I highly recommend studio2stage to anyone, regardless of previous experience, who has an interest in professional show dancing. studio2stage was absolutely one of the best 9 days of my life and will prove to be immensely valuable in the future!  | studio2stage was such a great experience! I cannot begin to describe how much I learned during the 9 days at Kean University. The choreographers were absolutely brilliant. Being named a dance captain, I had the pleasure of working closely with several of them. It was clear that they were thrilled to bring their ideas to life on stage. They put a lot of thought into making each number unique. The excitement and dedication of all the choreographers was truly inspirational to all of us dancers. We came in every morning wanting to work hard to perfect each routine. I think that mentality brought us all closer together. It was remarkable to see the whole company come together as the week progressed. I made so many lifelong friends that I will never forget; by the end of the week none of us wanted to leave because we had become so close. | Dear studio2stage Team, Thank you for such an incredible experience. Coming into the week I was a little apprehensive as I knew that so many talented dancers were going to be dancing right next to me. Leaving the theater that last night, I knew I'd had the chance to work with some of the greatest people a person could ever meet. From the moment we stepped on stage there was this energy all around that's hard to put into words. All of us had trained so hard for that minute when the music started, that standing on stage was surreal. My dream ever since I was little is to tour with a show. S2S has taken me one step closer to making that dream become a reality. I'd like to thank the whole studio2stage team for such a great opportunity! The nine days I spent at Kean University have left me more prepared and excited for what's to come in the future. Until next time S2S!
