I wanted to start off by thanking each and every one of you for the most amazing 9 days of my life. A few of my friends auditioned for studio2stage the first years it was run, but I never pictured myself in the role of a show dancer. However, after being in the audience for last years, "That's Dancing!" I knew I wanted to audition for a chance to be a part of such an amazing production. I sent in my audition tapes hoping for the best and was thrilled when I soon found out I had been offered a place. I was a little nervous coming into the 9 days because I had never done something like this before, but I quickly realized that it did not matter. The choreographers and cast were so welcoming and friendly right away. Every day of rehearsals, I never once found myself thinking about the long hours of dancing, I found myself learning, having fun, and laughing a whole lot. I learned so much about myself and my dancing over these 9 days, especially that being a part of this production meant becoming a part of this family. I never thought I would be even considering pursuing show dancing because the only thing that ever meant something to me was competing, but it is safe to say that after this experience, performing and putting on a show means just as much to me, if not more, than competing ever has. Again, thank you to the production team, the choreographers, and the cast for everything each of you taught me. studio2stage really is one big family, and I couldn't be more proud to have been a part of this year's production.
Thank you so much,

When the tears started to flow at the end of Studio2Stage 2015, I recognized a few things: I had to go back again in 2016!; show dancing was a new, very important goal in my life; and I had made some incredible new lifelong friends who share my passion for Irish dance. Studio2Stage was every bit as much an amazing experience the second year as the first. Working with Michelle, Jim, Siobhan, Miriam and Aidan again was wonderful and working with Craig and Andy as the new choreographers this year inspired me to believe that if I work hard on my craft, I too could tour with a show someday as a professional dancer. Studio2Stage is a grueling nine days (not just physically, but mentally as well ? there really is a lot of work to be done), but it was also the most fun nine days I?ve ever had! I loved being immersed in a show environment, learning show choreography and working with and helping my fellow dancers. Got my own creative juices flowing as well ? I love making up my own steps! I would like to thank the producers, the choreographers, the directors, musicians, and all of the dancers for making this, once again, a most memorable nine days! I already miss everyone!
Thank you so much!!!

Words can't explain how much fun and what an amazing time I had while at studio2stage. Working with such talented choreographers and other dancers was only the start to the fun. I've made friends that I want to keep for the rest of my life and made memories that I will never forget. From eating Domino's Pizza nightly to the parties in the laundry room to having six people wheeled down the hallway in that giant laundry basket, I couldn't imagine doing that with anyone other than the people I met at studio2stage. And as soon as we all got on stage on show night, it only got better. I got chills as soon as the music started playing and the curtains opened. As soon as we started dancing, nothing was going to wipe the happiest smile off my face. When we came off from the opener... I can't even describe the feeling. It was just incredible. Thank you so much to studio2stage and all the amazing producers and choreographers for making such an awesome show and giving all the dancers an experience we will never forget.

Yes I am going to be that cliché person and say that studio2stage 2016 was and amazing experience because it truly was!! I have to admit I was a little nervous to attend the first day of rehearsals because I had no idea what to expect, being this was my first year. Fortunately, it didn't take long for me to realize that this was the place for me. I thoroughly enjoyed participating in the side of Irish dance that was not competitive. As the week progressed I could see how the challenging rehearsals and long days were only making me a better dancer as I grew more and more determined to perfect the routines with the rest of my S2S team! It was awesome seeing the transformation of the routines from the first day of rehearsals to the show day! It still amazes me how hard all of the S2S team worked to put together a professional Irish dance show in just 9 days!!
This experience opened up my eyes to what it is like to be a show dancer and it only deepened my love for the music and dancing! I would like to thank the S2S team of choreographers, producers, etc. for an incredible experience and for introducing me to a fabulous group of talented people!!
I hope to be back next year and add to the fantastic memories I made this year! Thank you again studio2stage for the new experience, inspiration and friends!!

I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I first arrived in New Jersey for Studio2stage, but by the end of just the first few days I was so in love with the experience and never wanted it to end. I'm so thankful and glad that I got to spend nine days doing what I love with some amazing people. I would love to thank Michelle and Jim, the amazing choreographers Miriam, Aidan, Zach, and James, and the rest of the cast and crew for making my Studio2stage experience amazing!

I had no idea what to expect coming into s2s, and I will honestly say you all challenged me and pushed me beyond my limits. I could not be more grateful for that because it showed me I could do anything I set my mind to and that I could do more than I thought. I had an absolute blast getting to know each one of you, as well as the cast and crew. When Jim told us on the first day that we would have friends for a lifetime after s2s, I had no idea the impact that would have. I truly have made some of my best friends at s2s from all over the world and it is amazing what Irish dance can do to bring people together. Thank you all for pushing me, believing in me, supporting me, laughing with me, and enjoying every second of those nine days together. Lastly, thank you for reminding me why I came back to dancing after three and a half years, and why I love it so much. I now know that I want to pursue my dream of dancing in shows after I graduate college. I miss you all, send you the best, and hope our paths cross sometime soon! Thank you for everything!

I wanted to drop you a quick note of thanks for the life changing experience I had this summer at S2S. The teachers taught me so much including being more "sassy! The friendships I made were amazing, and being able to put on a professional show in 9 days was unbelievable and speaks volumes of the dedication of these amazing teachers and dancers! This experience has really made me grow and mature as a person and I loved every single minute if it, and would be so honored to have another opportunity in 2016!

Thanks again for everything!
