Meet dancer Myles Lawson from Columbus, Ohio. Myles was a studio2stage cast member for three seasons, 2015, 2016 and 2017.  During his time with us, he was a dependable and thoroughly professional performer. Myles is a very talented stage performer and he establishes an excellent rapport with his performing colleagues and with the faculty members. He assisted with and communicated with the team in implementing all of the plans, programs and showcases. His leadership and organizational skills were invaluable to us and we want to wish Myles the very best as he undertakes his formative steps to becoming a professional stage performer.

Meet dancer Kari Barile from Everson, Washington. Kari was a studio2stage cast member for 2015, 2016 and 2017 and during her time with studio2stage she became a truly valued member of the studio2stage cast. Kari was an influential dance captain for the 2017 season, her passion for performing was inspirational to everyone around her and her assistance helped us to stage an amazing production. Kari was also instrumental in helping the studio2stage team manage the social media content and to achieve the timely updates required for the event, her attention to detail and diligence were a great asset to all of the cast. All of the team wish her well in her future performing career and we look forward to catching up soon.

I had such an amazing time as a cast member in studio2stage 2018! I couldn’t wait to reconnect with my friends from the 2017 cast who were returning, as well as working with another phenomenal set of choreographers. Each day was a new challenge filled with laughter and excitement. I am so grateful for this show and the opportunities it gives dancers to grow as performers. I highly recommend studio2stage to any dancer looking to expand upon their performance skills and have a fun time while making friends from all across the globe!

studio2stage has been one of the best dancing experiences I have ever been a part of. I’m still so grateful to have been part of the 2017 cast and I miss the people and the atmosphere so much. I got to meet and perform with so many amazing dancers and instructors. Although I unfortunately don’t dance anymore, as to me completing a biology/premed degree, I still try to incorporate a little dancing into my everyday life like coming up with steps to my favorite songs in my gym’s rec room.
s2s brought out my performance side and I’m so happy that I ended my dancing career on such a positive note with amazing friends and stories. I couldn’t recommend this experience more.
Much love, Jordan (ooh ah s2s ??)

studio2Stage has truly been a life changing experience for me! Before joining the team, I was unsure of the performance world and didn’t know what to expect. After working with all the incredible choreographers and dancers, I feel so much more prepared moving forward. I have truly found myself as a performer and discovered how much passion I have for the stage. I can’t thank studio2stage enough for the life-long friendships and incredible experience it has given me. I encourage every dancer to take advantage of this amazing opportunity, as I have discovered my love for performing I never knew existed. The past 2 years on the cast have been amazing. I still get the chills when I think about the unforgettable feeling of performing on the stage.

I really can’t put into words how life changing this experience was for me! It pushed me way outside of my comfort zone, and helped me realize my true potential as an Irish dancer. I learned confidence, stage presence, and met many lifelong friends along the way. I am so grateful for the producers of the show for allowing me to have this wonderful opportunity! Would 100% recommend this to any Irish dancer and hope everyone gets to experience something as special as this 9 days at some point in their career. :)

When I first arrived at studio2stage, I didn't know what to expect, I was really shy and nervous and I didn’t know anyone else, but as the days went by I started to gain more confidence and everyone I met was so kind and helpful. I was really impressed of how professional everything was such as the choreographers teaching us the numbers of the show and a very organised timetable of everything. My favourite part of studio2stage was meeting new people and being able to perform with all the cast in the matinee and evening show. I have enjoyed and loved every single moment of studio2stage, it has given me an amazing opportunity by helping me become more of a professional and experienced performer. After I went back home, I got contacted by a previous studio2stage cast member Justin Born, asking if I would like to audition for a part in Carol of the King for the Christmas tour and I got accepted. So we did rehearsals in Ohio and toured and performed in places across America. Also I was voted the hardest worker by the choreographers and got offered a position to be an understudy of the Lead Role in the show. I have had an incredible time in 2018 with studio2stage and Carol of the King. They have helped me achieve more than I thought I could. I couldn’t be more grateful. It’s true what is said “When one door closes another door opens.”

I highly recommend studio2stage to any young, aspiring Irish dancer. An amazing opportunity to kickstart a show career with great guidance and amazing training from the studio2stage team, developing show ready dancers for the big stage and worldwide Irish dance shows. When casting shows, I always know the talent that Michelle and Jim help produce are show ready and up to the challenge. studio2stage is the perfect start to a show career for any ambitious Irish dancer.

I can't even begin to explain how amazing the past 10 days have been. My love for performing has grown so much and I have made so many friendships that will last a lifetime. This has been one of the greatest opportunities that I have received and I cannot thank everyone involved in studio2stage enough. I can't wait to see what the future holds for my dancing career.
